Positive Behaviour Curriculum

At Holy Trinity, our Positive Behaviour Curriculum is a whole-school approach that ensures consistency, clarity, and care. Every staff member works to build strong relationships with students and families while modelling, teaching, and reinforcing shared expectations, routines, and rules across all areas of school life.

Students are explicitly taught the behaviours we expect, with clear examples and opportunities to practise. Routines are broken into manageable steps, with specific and timely feedback provided until students can demonstrate independence. Regular review and guidance help ensure these skills become embedded, supporting a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

Clear behaviour expectations help students feel secure, confident, and supported. High expectations communicate that each child is cared for, valued, and capable of success, fostering both personal growth and academic achievement (DeNobile, 2021; Bennett, 2020; McDonald, 2019).
