Science & Technology

At Holy Trinity Primary School, our Science and Technology program sparks curiosity and builds essential knowledge about the world around us.

Through hands-on investigations, experiments, and problem-solving activities, students develop critical thinking skills while exploring topics from biological systems to physical sciences and earth and space sciences. This scientific knowledge not only engages students in meaningful learning but also provides the background understanding and specialised vocabulary that supports their reading comprehension and gives them authentic contexts for writing across different text types.

Developing Digitally Conscious Citizens

Technology is an integral part of our students’ present and future, which is why we are committed to developing digitally conscious learners who can navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Our students learn essential digital skills alongside important lessons about online safety, digital citizenship, and their responsibilities when using technology. We teach children to think critically about their digital footprint, to communicate respectfully online, to protect their personal information, and to seek help when they encounter concerning content. By building both technological competence and digital wisdom, we prepare our students to harness the benefits of technology while understanding the importance of being safe, responsible, and ethical digital citizens.
