Italian & Performing Arts

The goal of the Italian Language Program at Holy Trinity is to foster an appreciation of another culture as well as our own and to promote and develop language as communication.
Students learn that the central goal of learning a language is communication. An awareness of this, and development of skills, is taught by listening, speaking, reading, writing, singing, dancing and performing.
Many of the activities covered during the school year will not only enrich students’ knowledge of the Italian culture, but also aim to foster independence, cooperation, and collaboration; and encourage risk taking in language use.
The Italian activities are also designed to be integrated with the Performing Arts curriculum with emphasis first and foremost, on participation and enjoyment!

Viva l’italiano!!!
